We were pleased to contribute to the revitalization of Brooklyn Community Housing & Services's Brooklyn Gardens housing development. The development serves 140 individuals, including previously homeless mothers, adults with mental illness, and those who have previously been or are at risk of homelessness. BCHS residents will be able to enjoy a newly refurbished outdoor seating and garden area designed by Baxt Ingui Architects and implemented by Monadnock Construction and LPA Construction, Inc.

Beautiful bluestone and pavers were installed in the large garden area at the rear of the courtyard, along with new plantings and custom benches. Additional modifications increased accessibility to the garden for residents and staff. The result is a lush, peaceful space that will be used for picnics, play, and memorial events.
