Before & After: Brick Reincarnation

Design

From original painted brick in the 1850s to stone veneer in the early 2000s, this townhouse had seen many iterations of its façade before it came to us. Our renovation included exposing the original brick and restoring the original brownstone lintels and door frame. A new, lightweight cornice from Arch Fiberglass, windows from Marvin, and mahogany door from Upstate Door brought the home back to its original beauty.

The rejuvenated building now sits proudly within its historic context of the Cobble Hill Historic District.

Our renovation included restoring the brick and brownstone detailing, adding a dark green cornice and trim, and designing a lush garden in the front yard.
