This project presented a unique opportunity to design horizontally in Brooklyn Heights. While the historic façade was preserved and improved, you'd never know the building underwent major excavation to create a below grade cellar!

The two-story carriage house already had a unique front façade. We enhanced it with new windows, transoms, glazed doors, window boxes, and lighting to make the house shine.

Landscaping that surrounds the sprawling, lush roof deck softens the roof line from the ground. A new skylight floods the building with natural light.
