From 1820s to 2020

As we enter a new decade, we're looking back on this Brooklyn Heights Greek Revival townhouse that is approaching 200 years old. When it came to us, the front façade was clad with faux red brick.

We had the privilege of investigating layers of the building's history during our renovation. When we pulled back the brick veneer siding, we uncovered the original wood plank siding of the house still intact. This was an important look into the materials used at the time the house was first constructed. We used this discovery as inspiration, replicating the original materials.

The newly renovated façade feels like a journey back to the home's history. The powder blue siding, white accents, and bright green door reflect the new, rejuvenated home.
