Not all buildings need be constructed new. Take this old barn located on our client’s property in the Hamptons – originally intended for storage but no longer proving useful, we helped it find a new home on the property as a poolhouse. It fits as if it were always meant to live there. With careful planning and maneuvering, the old barn was moved from the end of a driveway to a new position that flanks the edge of the in-ground pool. Now that the structure has been moved, we look forward to its full restoration in the spring to convert it into a casual living space for the family, just in time for summer.
