BIA Interiors Feature: Dining Rooms as a Gathering Place and More

BIA Interiors

With the holidays right around the corner, we wanted to showcase a few of our favorite dining rooms. From small family dinners to large gatherings, they are a place for families to bond and enjoy time together. Throughout the years, and especially this year, dining rooms have become more multi-functional spaces.

In 2020, not only are they a place to share meals, they often double as study and work spaces! The more dining rooms we design, the more we take into consideration that the space needs to work for everyone in the household. We have always believed in and designed for comfort and ease of living, so we make sure that our dining rooms are both beautiful and functional. Don't just take our word for it; check out a few of our favorite dining rooms below.

To make this dining room formal and inviting, we selected sophisticated pieces that also worked for a family with small children. The dining chairs are large and fully upholstered with durable, scratch-resistant leather that is easier to clean than fabric. The already large dining table extends to create an even bigger space, perfect for the holidays.

Flooded with natural light, this dining room just off the kitchen is the perfect space for family meals or a temporary office space. The clean and modern aesthetic is accented by pops of color in the dining chairs and bold artwork.

In this playful dining room, we utilized brass accents in the dining chairs and light fixtures. We balanced the white cabinetry with a high gloss lacquer wood table. The mix of materials makes it feel both glamorous and playful.
