New Life for an Eye-Catching Brooklyn Facade

The painted slate shingles on the mansard roof of this townhouse made it striking from the start, and fully restoring the front facade truly makes it a stand-out. By restoring the front cement stucco, replacing the existing windows, and swapping out the iron-gated front door for a more historically accurate double door with arched transom above, this French Second Empire style home reclaims its presence in the neighborhood.
