Fire Island Bungalow
Our goal for the project was raising and expanding this cottage while maintaining its original character and feel, both inside and outside.

A new wraparound deck elevated the exterior of the bungalow.
Note from the Architect
We designed an open living space with large windows connecting the interior to the deck and the beach beyond. Large sliding glass doors connect the living room with a screened in porch, increasing living space in most seasons.
Many of the details, interior and exterior, were inspired by the original details of the home.
